About Discovered Attack
A discovered attack occurs when a piece moves and reveals an attack by another piece that was hidden behind it. The power of discovered attacks lies in their ability to create two threats simultaneously — one from the piece that moved, and one from the piece that was uncovered. Mastering discovered attacks dramatically increases your tactical arsenal.
